Martijn Smit

Martijn is partner and works in the corporate law department. Martijn specializes in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial contract law, with a focus on the ICT sector. He graduated with honors from the Grotius specialization program in Corporate Law and Business Law. Martijn is actively involved in the following areas:

• Guiding buyers, sellers, and investors in mergers, acquisitions, and participations.
• Providing advice and representation in shareholder disputes.
• Handling ICT contracts and disputes, as well as privacy law matters.
• Establishing and disentangling collaboration agreements (cooperation agreements, general partnerships, limited partnerships).
• Drafting and litigating commercial agreements (agency, distribution, trade).
• Handling liability and insurance law matters, including insurance fraud.
