Our law firm in Alkmaar is located in the former building of the Rijks Hogere Burgerschool (State Higher Civic School). Since 1990, our office has been housed in this monumental building. The building was designed by the former municipal architect Du Croix and was built in 1867. In the staircase, a large stained glass triptych by the famous Haarlem glass artist W. Bogtman was reinstalled in 2000. It includes a quote by Jacob Cats: “The third attempt holds the cable.” This means that if something doesn’t succeed immediately, it’s worth trying again.

From Alkmaar Station, it’s a 7-minute walk. If you prefer to take the bus, there are two bus lines that go to our Alkmaar office. Take bus 350 or 351 and get off at the Kanaalkade stop. From there, it’s about a 3-minute walk to our office.
